Scoping Studies
Written By:
Scoping studies are generally for early stage projects and are a quick, cost-effective method for determining the general amenability of various mineral processing options. These studies give an idea of the economic potential of the material.

What We Do
Based on the mineralogy of the project, one or more of the following methodologies can be used to determine the recoverability of the target mineral.
- Heavy Liquid Separation (for pre-concentration)
- Gravity Concentration (Centrifugal Concentrators, shaking tables, spirals)
- Flotation
- Leaching (Acidic, Caustic, Cyanide, or other)
- Magnetic Separation
Our team will use our knowledge and experience to advise which options are suitable for preliminary testing. After all the above, we should be able to roughly define the preliminary flowsheet.
Follow-up testing can be conducted to further define the process flowsheet.
